Local Attachment Parenting Support
Gainesville Attachment Parents is for local Gainesville, FL parents who are practicing or are interested in practicing Attachment Parenting, the principles of which include gentle birth, breastfeeding, babywearing, sleeping close to baby, and gentle discipline (http://www.attachmentparenting.org/support.shtml). For some of our families, issues tangential to AP might include, but are not limited to, natural family planning, homeschooling, selective vaccination, tandem nursing, cloth diapering, vegetarianism/veganism and mindful consumerism.
Online Forum
This forum will be used to schedule monthly meetings on topics including those mentioned above or others that our members find relevant; to discuss local events related to AP; to form and plan playgroups among members; or for any other purpose we find meets our members' needs.
